Fall Family Portrait Preview

A rustic barn location. A Saloon. Lumberjack Vibes. Pumpkin carving. Wine. Beer. Enough said!
Your session includes multiple poses and backgrounds. TVF will design you a custom Christmas Card. Your kids get to carve a pumpkin and take it home. We'll have drinks and snacks! Mom, have a glass of wine before your session and let TVF deal with your crazy kids.

Details.
• Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
• Dark solid colors and simple patterns are recommended. Dress for the weather! We want everyone to be comfortable.
• Don't wear stuff that is too "matchy-matchy". Complimentary color pallets are good such as neutrals and earth tones. I recommend that woman wear long sleeves and darker colors.
• Check out Pinterest for ideas!
• Bring a set of flannel shirts for the "lumberjack" background!
• We will have smocks/aprons for the kids for pumpkin carving when your session is over. Be prepared to take your pumpkins home
• Within 2 weeks of the session you will receive a custom online gallery of your images that you can download and share. Discounted prints will be available through gallery.
• TVF will work with you to design a Christmas card and coordinate the printing.

Preparing for
your session
• Make hair, nail, and/or makeup appointments well before your photo shoot.
• Make sure your roots are touched up and you aren’t wearing chipped nail polish.
• Plan your outfits at least a week in advance—don’t wait ‘til the last day, trust me!
You want to wake up feeling relaxed and prepared, so plan these details out early.
Feel free to text me photos of your wardrobe if you’re having a hard time choosing!

• Prepare your kids with laid-back, low-key references to let them know what’s happening. Tell them you will be “hanging out with Todd having fun taking photos on Saturday!” and keep things fun, lighthearted, and casual. It's gonna be like a fall festival!
• And of course, make sure everyone gets a great night’s sleep and eats a good meal beforehand. We'll party when you get here.
